I totally know where you are coming from on this. My husband and I worry waaaay too much about the girls and how and where they are developmentally. I know we should just chill the f out and let it ride, but it's hard.

oh my- that Louis CK bit had me laughing until I cried. Thanks, I needed that!

That first parent-teacher conference sure is a doozy, isn't it?

Glad to hear it went well--now, martinis all 'round (well, maybe not for Cheeky).

We just got Bird's first kindergarten report card so I could totally relate to this. I'm just wondering if they mixed up children because his teacher said he is a good listener, eager learner, and delightful student.

BTW, the bloody handprints really creeped me out. Thanks for the nightmare fodder.

I wouldn’t worry too much about having high expectations (“...will lift millions out of poverty and eventually lead to our collective ascension to a higher plane of existence.”) Just remember, even Bill and Ted achieved that with a few “whoas” and the occasional “excellent!”

Sounds like Cheeky has it covered.

Education and Learning

First Parent-Teacher conference definitely its a worry. Firstly we have in our minds, i would enthusiasm "how our child is doing" is he capable.. and the expectations, I feel we should not worry about expectations. Its a well known fact that every child is different.

Hand Me Downs

I really love the table-format you have given the info in. It seems very clear that your cheeky is very intelligent.

All the best with her.
